PayPal help!

So half a year ago, I did some transactions with eBay via paypal. I sold my items, and everything went well. After a few more transactions my paypal got limited.

Here is my situation: It has been 180 days since the limitation so I can withdraw money, but I had used a fake name, so that clearly makes me not legible to transfer to my bank account.

I was wondering if there was anything I could do?:embar:


Ugh, I really need help with this... It's $700... I'm out of cash right now and need it to pay off someone...

There's not a lot you can do unless you submit a paypal name change and ring them up, saying that you opened it up in a business associates name who has left the company.

You can add any bank account to PayPal even if it's not under your name, might be different if your account is limited, just try adding your bank and withdraw the money.

 

it has to be the same last name ..

 

I'll try that, but as of I know... You cant withdraw unless its under the same exact name, thanks for the answer anyways!

 

I've withdrawn money to my moms bank account but my account wasn't limited. so not sure if it's different.

 

Try IDB's situation or just withdraw it to your bank, sometimes they don't give a fuck as long as the bank account is verified and they can deposit the cash in. I've had several PayPal accounts under my middle names and cash has been deposited flawlessly.

 

Just call them up and admit you put a wrong name because you were scared about security, as long as you can supply everything on the account I'm sure they'll understand. I had to do the same thing and admit to them I put the wrong date as I'm 17 and not 18 and they understood and said to withdraw the money in 180 days.
