Well, with all the Fagex wipes do you think RSGP trading is on it's last legs.

No, definitely not. Most people don't bother trading safely, which is why they end up getting banned. You will never be banned if the gp is transferred via even stakes.

Which is how I believe I will start trading from now on. I wasn't being careful before, but now that I got a hammer I think I'll do that. I'm laying low for a bit, just until it clears up you could say.

Trading hasn't gone down, and never will. With even stakes as jake stated, there is no possibility whatsoever of getting banned.

If anything I think it will help raise the prices...people will get wiped/banned, need to make new account and will be demanding gold for those new accounts to train/stake/pk.

If the price keeps dropping like it is right now, there wont be a need for jagex to wipe anything, its pontless to farm and sell it soon anyway :D . Just saw a big buyer lowering to 0,1 - 0,15$/m...

It doesn't help that EOC is becoming less popular...Fewer people playing means less of a demand for gold :/

OT but what is the "even staking" method? From the sound of it you both stake the same amount and let the buyer win the stake. If that's the case it sounds kinda risky if the person has better combat stats than you.

RS3 may revitalise the RSGP market. Hard to say though. I know a few people that play are holding onto their GP in hopes of RS3 causing an increase in demand and price; seems doubtful though.

Can never predict it until it happens.

Prices go up and down all the time depending on demand, players etc...

Since RS07 came back EOC is less popular and people have been swapping in there EOC for RS07 gp so the buyers are piled with EOC gold.

Prices of EOC are easily manipulated. Alot of players are getting older and wiser and loosing interest in the game.

But in short EOC will never die and gp will always be for sale....

If RS3 comes out soon it might spike, but I think it might go back down again.
