I suggest that we get a PM notification with each infraction we receive; being quite detailed with the post you were infracted for, why you received the infraction, a link to the rule you broke, the report post and who reported you for this infraction. I believe the system in place is very basic, and a PM to confirm each infraction - maybe create an automated reply system? Post your thoughts here.

 

When you get an infraction you already receive a pm. Also, If you click on your profile you can see what rule you broke followed by the post by simply click on it.

 

Every infraction I have received I have not once received a PM so where do you base this? Yes, but not every infraction you receive has a link to the post in which you were reported for.

 

You can click on it. I have received an infraction/warning and was pmed both of the times.

 

When a moderator does not include an explanation for the infraction when they're issuing it (and, instead, just lets the title of the infraction speak for itself), it does not send you a PM. I've brought it up before, and the administration just reminds mods to include a message so you guys ARE pm'd.

But we're only human, and we often forget that step.

Locked since you DO get PM's, but only if the moderator does it correctly..
