Doctor Who

Haven't been around these parts in ages, but I've come back. I recently built a computer and with that had to re-install PS and CAD, which I put off for weeks/months. Downloaded both programs and made this piece today.

Hopefully I can get back in gear and start creating graphics again

That looks really great in my opinion. Is CAD what you use for text and such? I'm having trouble with creating myself a nice signature I used to make logos for gamebattles but text signatures aren't my strong point.

 

Yes, I render out the text in CAD and then throw it in PS.

i look nice but i thank the lighting is unbalanced.

 

It's pretty good considering you've been deprived of any software for quite a while.

I have to agree slightly with Lucas, in a way that the different colours contrast slightly too much - i'd use a slightly bluey-er white for the text extrude if that makes sense

 

Anymore opinions? Thinking about creating another piece, as I have a few days off from work.

 

It's already nearly perfect.
