If the currency of the country I'm from is not initially in USD, can I request money that were sent to me be in USD or will they automatically convert it towards the country's currency ?

And how much are rates ? Is it a Flat fee or % of the amount sent ? What kind of information do I need to provide to my buyer if he wants to use WU to send the payment?

I'm not sure on this as i've never used it. But in the UK there are many many shops that you can just walk in to and send a payment. They usually have signs outside.

Perhaps if you have seen such a sign in your area, go to the store and ask. Alternatively go to their website and have a little read and perhaps create a online account.

 

I did read up and even call them. Unfortunately, my country does not offer an online account.
