Digital Currency vs RL Buy/Sell

So I was looking at the two different sections and noticed that there are a few threads that are posted in both. I'm a little intrigued by the fact that you're allowed to have the same thread posted in two different places for the same exact thing because they are both "Real-Life Purchases" - you are purchasing an item that exists in the real world (like gift cards) - and then purchasing them as well as a "Digital Currency" - said gift cards can be bought to be used online to make purchases.

However, shouldn't that mean that they are still a Real-Life purchase?

Sorry no. Gift cards can be bought as codes and as physical cards mailed to you. How is it affecting you anyway? You may have better luck doing something more useful with your time besides whining about little things.

 

Regardless of them being codes and or physical cards they are still thought of as something purchased in real life and to be used for real life purchases later on. If you tell me otherwise, you are lying to yourself and everyone around you. Here let me now use your thread as my example:

Wal*Mart, Target, American Eagle, Best Buy, AMEX and Vanilla Visa (so 2/3+ of your list?) - you can only purchase items in the real world with these gift cards. They are NOT used as a digital currency (like a BitCoin is). Not only that, you cannot use them to trade for another gift card (unless your cashier is really stupid).

What all should be included in this section: Any of the above listed items, "Virtual Gambling Money", Account Verifications/Upgrades/Licensing, Youtube/Instagram/Twitter bolstering, RL-Purchased In-Game Currencies (maybe), Skype Credits, etc.

Obviously you're missing the point of this being the Community Input section and just came in here to blather, rather furiously at that, because I used your threads as a point.

It doesn't necessarily affect me, but merely an observation I made while perusing the areas that I normally scope out for things that may interest me. All done while I was clearing out all the new threads that have cropped up within the time I was away - including yours which used the same exact format for two different sections.

This isn't the Suggestions page, it's the Community Input. I made an observation and wanted to see what other people thought about it. There is no whining involved.

 

Some people just give the codes and don't post the card, therefore it's not a real life service? If they posted the cards then it should be in there.

 

My 2 cents, if the item is physical, it is a real world item.
