Ipad mini or Ipad 3 / 4?

So I'm looking into buying a tablet for just browsing the net before I go to bed or playing a game while at school etc, I like the size of the Ipad mini but un sure of jumping right into it, your thoughts on witch I shought get? Thanks

 

Wait about a month, new iPads are going to get released somewhere near April.

 

My teacher have an iPad mini and it seems pretty portable and easy to use. When it comes to gaming or playing in the bed it seems a nice choice.

 

I'd say get either a Nexus 7/Nexus 10.
But, if you really wanna go Apple, I'd say hold both and decide if the iPad 4/3 is so heavy/big, or if the iPad Mini is so small for a tablet.
For playing in bed, I'd say iPad mini, for school too, as it's way more portable.
The Nexus tablets are way better.
Why? Hardware, software...
Like the Nexus 7 packs a Quad-core where as the iPad mini offer a dual core.
The Nexus 7 offer a HD screen, while the iPad mini has a 1024x768 or so resolution..
The Nexus 10 offers a 2560x1600 resolution display with 300PPI, the iPad 3/4 offers a 2048x1536 with 267PPI or so..
The Nexus devices run Android, which is, better than iOS, trust me.
People will probably say iOS is simpler, but let me leave a Nexus 4/7/10 with my grandmother, 2 days later, she will use it so easily.
TL;DR:
Get a Nexus unless you really want to go with Apple, try both and see which one feels right for you.

In the next few months there will most likely be the iPad 5 & Ipad Mini Retina (AKA Ipad mini 2) and also the Galaxy Nexus 7 with a Full HD display (AKA Nexus 7 II)

 

My dad has an ipad mini and i use and iPad. I reccommend an iPad if you care about the screen because the ipad mini's lower PPI is very visible.
