As long as Jagex is cool with people buying 07gp with EOCgp, no one has to worry about being banned for RWT. I have a feeling that this server is just a last effort by Jagex to get $ before the game crumbles.

trading 07gp for eoc gp isn't "rwt" though. It's a trust trade between two of jagex's games, which is why they're allowing it.

Not saying they're not grasping for the last few bucks, because they've been doing that for ages, but this instance in itself isn't RWT.

 

Oh I know, but in order to trade 07gp for EOC gp you have to preform two one-sided trades. Because this is allowed there's no way to detect RWT. I remember being banned for RWT multiple times because of large one-sided trades.

 

I hear grasping for the last few bucks, and think of like 10$... Even if everyone voted with 2$ membership, that's 800,000$. And I wish I could grasp that many 'few' bucks.

this is what leads me to believe that 07 is simply a dying cash cow.
they can't regulate bots and they're not regulating RWT among other things.

 

Implying Jagex does a rats ass even in EoC regarding RWT. Haha.

 

No idea, I haven't played since G.E. was released.
I was banned multiple times for RWT. One time was a legit trade too.

 

A huge amount of players have been rolled or banned for RWT, they do give a rats ass at least. Several big names have been banned too, namely the Mx luring kid.

 

I don't think it is a money pit, I do think this is a revival though i personally think this will keep rs around another 10 years.

 

It's a way for jagex to keep people happy while boosting economy in the new game. I can't see any real disadvantages to it tbh
