Question about Paypal.

Lets say that I sell something on here and the buyer does a chargeback. If I already spent the money in my paypal account, will my account just go into negative until I pay it back or will they try to take the money from my credit card, if I have one on my account. What if I never pay it back?

It goes into negative balance. You cannot buy anything using that pay-pal until you pay it off.

 

If you have spent the money before they chargeback , your balance will go negative .

They will then contact you by phone and email if you have real info on your paypal account. If its fake info , they won't really do anything unless its a big amount .

And they won't take money from your credit card (if you have one)unless permisson is given

 

And after a while of being in the negative, they will disable your account and if you want to use it again, you have to repay them by contacting them.

Sadly, paying via PayPal is so popular that you will somehow need to use it someday.

However it could hurt your credit score (I'm not sure), they could use your details from the card when you verified your account, and they could go after you depending on the amount.

 

You could end up with a few problems if you ever try and take a loan, but other than that it could be worse. Best way, pay it back.

 

You'll be flagged. It'll just cause unnecessary complications in the future. For future reference, only trade via Paypal with vouched users.

 

What if you have 2 paypal for example and have fake info on one and real on another, then accept money on the fake one and send them to the real one.
And someone does a chargeback on the fake account?
Will they charge the money from the real or will it just stay negative on the fake one, if so you can just create a new fake one and continue??

Just a question, I'll ofc. pay the negative payment. But anyways would like to know if that was possible at all..?
