Tommorowland 2k13

I'm sure at least some of you have heard of Tommorowland before.

Anyone been there? If so, how did you like it?
Anyone planning to go to the event in 2013?

I'm actually considering to go; Likely day 2: Wildstylez, Axwell, Armin van Buuren and Knife Party (I like all 4 of them very much).

Also: Anyone maybe attending Balaton Sound in Hungary? If yes, lemme know, cause I'm from Hungary, and anyone coming is invited for a drink-or two, cause I'll be there every day

It's a music festival in Belgium.

Also: Prices - 1 day ticket ~$100 converted from EUR to USD. 3 day ticket (It's from 26-28th July) - ~$275 - to my knowledge.

Please NOTE: Minimum age 18 for the event!

I have a few friends that go there every year.

 

I would love to but the plane tickets are too expensive. I am on the pre-register list so I can still change my mind but that is only if I can find a cheap flight from US.

 

Tickets usually get sold out a few hours after the sales start. You'll have te be fast if you wanna go or you'll have to buy them from ppl who bluk buy them to resell(then they charge twice the normal price)

 

Apparently (according to the website) one can only buy 4 tickets? How'd you bulk buy them? In more people's names? o.o

Tommorowland doesn't look like my sort of festival.

 

A bunch of my friends are going to this festival! Heard its going to be sick.

 

For someone who's looking to go, you didn't do a whole lot of research. It's right on the damn website. Tickets go on sale February 16th 7:00 CET. And yes, they sell out insanely fast, so be fast.

 

Yeah, last year it took me like 4 hours to get in, and I had been trying the second they became available.

They have more than one sale though, so even if you don't manage to get them on the 16th, you can always try later.

 

Aham, and if say someone missed on the 16th sale, would they be getting roughly the same price later on? Or how does it work?

I didn't do a lot of research because the festivals I normally attend have tickets up for sale all until the event; and someone mentioned here that they sell very fast, so I guessed they had knowledge on the topic. No need to attack me for no reason.

 

I'd love to go but I am too far away

 

It's not that bad; I live in Hungary and I've been to the States this year and going soon again. It's roughly 11-15 hours on plane, depending on which part of the US you live, and by Lufthansa if I recall well, you should be able to make the trip $800 (back and forth), if you get plane tickets early enough. I think it's worth it if you really like the performers performing on Tommorowland. Oh yeah and if you did decide to come, you should stay in Belgium for like a week, so you also get to see the country, etc. I've been to Belgium (more specifically Gent) in the past and I really enjoyed it.

 

Yea, same price. They just open ticket sales on the 16th, and do it again like 2 weeks after that.

 

I have been dying to go for the last two years, but always been crammed with other festivals and holidays. Not too mention this one is pretty expensive altogether (I live in England) .. I will 100% go one day !
