    [Help] Making forum pips..

I wanted to make a few forum pips like:
That's an old one from InnovationX, but I wanted to make something like it..
Wanted to know whether to use Photoshop, Gimp, or other(specify) and how to make the striped lines.. I'm not experienced with photoshop or anything so yeah.. =p If anyone has a good video or anything on it, post it.

    Thanks in advance.

I sort of made one. Not the best, but ...

I wanted to know how to make this
    [IMG]
    into this(text wise)
I'm pretty sure it's the same font.

If anyone has time on their hands, can they help me out with some stuff?
I need to know how to change the font like above and resizing images.
I could get photoshop if anything.

For the stripped lines, use a pattern overlay look up a tutorial on youtube.
As for anything else you are missing the reflection so use the rectangle tool & cover up half of the bar. (Using the color white of course) Then just bring down the opacity to around 10. And voila! There you have it mate.

Oh, I wasn't really worrying about the reflection part. Just wanted to know about the text.
You sure it's visitor text? That's more for like userbars and I guess some forum's pips.
This pip has the text 'Copperplate Gothic Bold' I'm pretty sure. Which is what I used in mine, but not the same. :/
Here's another one I made yesterday using the visitor font:

You can see it's a little different.
