Legal to sell RS Gold?

I plan on selling some gold here, i have already picked out a possible buyer, but i found that on ebay if i sell the items as a "Guide" i can turn out a very high profit (40m gold for nearly $30)

The only question is what kind of legal trouble can i get into for selling this gold on ebay? If i say im selling a guide for 40m, and the instruction in the guide are to accept a trade from one of my accounts, is it safe?

 

Selling ANY runescape thing is illgeal, RS is owned by Jagex so it's not your property to sell.

 

I would sell it to a highly trusted buyer on here instead of ebay.

 

Not sure if it's correct to say that selling gold is "illegal" since Jagex can't file any sort of legal dispute against you.
All they'll do is reset your gold if busted.

 

consider eBay fees, not sure if you'll make that much tbh. but other than that - my co-partner sells rsgp on ebay, no issues there..

 

eBay sometimes remove the listings, giving your account a black mark. Not worth it. I'd just personally stick to sythe/playerauctions

 

You run the risk of getting your PayPal and eBay accounts shut down for good and never allowed to make a new one again ;[

 

Selling gold is against the TOS, I doubt that it is against the law however.

my advice to you is, just sell your runescape gold/runescape guide on here. you will have a better chance selling it here, then on ebay. and yes if you sell anything runescape related that jagex disapproves, its illegal. runescape gold selling is ILLEGAL

 

It's against RS rules, but you won't get arrested/fined etc.

Also, it's a better idea to sell here than on ebay.

 

If you sell on ebay, I can almost guarantee you that your payment will get disputed/reversed. That's the only reason people so high, they're looking to scam you. And it's not illegal in the least
