Prices of Glasses In Your Area?

To those who wear glasses:

1. How much do you usually pay for a pair?
2. How much do they normally cost?

I remember that they were ridiculously expensive when I lived in the states.

 

I paid like 50 dollars.

 

I paid about 650 euros for my glasses. Got 180 euros back from healthcare. My eyes are quite bad though.

 

My brother got his lenses for free (NHS). His frames set him back £280 though.

 

Where did you buy them? And are they more expensive if your eyes are bad?

280, 650... That's pretty expensive unless they're from expensive brands :/

I was thinking about opening an international store, and I was curious about the prices that people paid in other countries.
Because if I DID open one, you'd be paying nowhere 650euros or £280 for a pair.

I brought some armani ones for around £450.

 

I remember paying 60 euros for mine but I never keep them on.

 

In the past, I've paid from anywhere between $50 to $130 or so. I live in California

 

I've payed somewhere between 150$-250$ for two glasses.

 

I dont wear glasses thankfully so I'm not sure how much are they
Probably around 300PLN which is near $100. It depends on type too

 

I got them when I was in New York, USA at a walmart.

 

I pay about $100 after insurance covers the rest..

 

Mine are free on the NHS(NationalHealthService)

 

Mine would have cost $120, but my insurance covered it and did not pay anything. This was like 4 years ago as now I just use contacts.

Well, I've got -7 and -3 on my eyesight. The lenses had to be thinned like 4x times. They also can't massproduce my glasses because my eyes are assymetrical.

 

My Ray Bans cost $150 plus like $50 for the prebscription.
