Wow.. I can't even imagine that, although I watched the video and it's kinda gross as well.
Good thing I live in Australia that stuff probably melts away the minute it get's flushed.

 

I just saw this on the TV lol, looked gross. The size of a double decker they said.

 

Wait how did it get there in the first place? Who flushes "fat" down the toilet??

 

Cooking grease and such that people pour down the sink is my guess.

Welcome to the UK. I'm guilty of scrubbing trays in the sink.

For most people the logic is "if it's a liquid, it'll go down the drain".

It's funny, they still put the fat to good use. It says at the bottom of the quote, the fat was used to generate energy. Irresponsible people caused the problem, glad to know intelligent people were able to benefit from it.

 

I wish I could take some home and melt it. I'd turn it into butter hehe..
