Karsten is a scammer!

Briefly explain the trade: It's a Neopets trade. He messaged me telling me he had a UC Darigan Ixi available for purchase for $50, through Paypal.

How they scammed: We're both new, however I notice he has had a few more successful trades than I have. I didn't want to go first so I offered $35, telling him I would send the remaining $15 after the pet has been sent. He agreed to this. I sent him the $35, he accepted (eventually; explained in screenshots), and then began ignoring my PMs. He has been online several more times today but won't respond. I gave him until midnight today (PST) to respond--I'd normally give longer, however I see he is suspected of scamming someone else in this forum and I wanted to put the warning out there before someone else was scammed.

Proof that you were not talking to an impostor: Nothing happened off-site, it was all through PMs.

Anyway, lesson learned. This is all the contact I've had with him so there's no further screenshots to provide. If something should be blacked out please let me know; I'll get on that asap. I blocked out my Neopets username in the first screenshot (can be provided to a mod if necessary; however no contact was ever made on Neopets) and my last name in the last screenshot.

He hasn't replied to my PM, but he has obviously been on recently. I've banned him, as you obviously did pay him. If he actually did send the pet, he can prove it in the dispute forum.
