things to talk about on the phone

To me this seemed easy, favorite activities, things to do together, things you're doing right now, but it's not that simple for some people. A kid came up to me at school today and said he was trying to talk to this girl, but the only people he'd ever seen talk on the phone were his parents, and all they told were stories. He said he didn't want to tell stories and had no idea what to talk about.
I told him the things I talked about, and other stuff, like ask her what her favorite movies are and if you have some in common you can talk about them, but idk, maybe I didn't get threw to him.

What would you guys have told him?

 

i speak, about upcoming events and possible chat up girls if im in the mood XD just kidding

 

If I don't have much to talk about, I let the girl talk. They LOOOVE to talk. Just ask her questions about what she likes, music style and so on.

 

The same things you talk about in person.. but that's wacky as fuck that he's never talked to anyone on the phone.

 

always let the girl run the conversation, pop a few questions here and there

 

Tell your friend to ask her to play the Question game! That's what I did when I had a crush on my now girlfriend of 8 Months

 

What you told him (for the most part), just small talk to start to understand the girl better. Normally, I suggest that the man asks the women questions because it's better to hear what they're doing than them hear what you're doing typically.

 

I just let them dominate the conversation. Usually works for me

 

This honestly, they always have something to say, and if the conversation get's dull just try to veer it to an interesting topic.

 

I used to talk so much back when I was in like 4th-6th grade, then 7th/8th grade I didn't really know what to talk about (even with friends) and now I just text or use skype. Maybe once/twice a month I'll call someone to talk to them.
Anyways, I used to talk about school, activities, goals, things I like, etc.. Anything that starts a conversation or what you talk about in person like kill dank said.
