Getting kicked out

I'm 18, I go to college, get good grades, never been in trouble with the law or anything. I do, however, smoke weed. My mom decided to go snooping through my room last night and found some paraphernalia, and now I'm on the verge of getting kicked out. My mother and I have been going back and forth for about a year now about me smoking weed, I told her I smoked (honesty sucks), she has never has caught me or anything.

I'm just curious as to what my options would be if I did get kicked out. I could possibly move in with my grandmother (my dad's mom), I don't have any friends I could move in with, getting an apartment would be possible but I wouldn't be able to pay the rent after a month or two because my job is with my dad and if I got kicked out I would probably lose it. I also don't have a car.

Any advice?

 

Your in her house, you have to follow her rules. tell her you will stop and ether stop or just keep your weed at your grandmothers house or only smoke away from home. buy a dime at a time and smoke it up.

 

Trust me, as a bill payer.. You do not want to get kicked out yet, as you'll have no time for college as you'll have to get a job to pay for rent.

Just quit weed while you're living there and then once you move out, do what you like.

 

You don't want to move out - I moved out at 16 and it wasn't what I expected. Paying rent and smoking weed isn't going to work out. Stay with a friend or another family member for a few weeks and get yourself clean, then you can make amends with your mum, you don't want to cause disputes with your close family, you'll regret it later on.

 

Personally i would try and work things out with your mom Mainly because when your older If you let this become a major issue with you it may effect your relationship as per smoking weed it isnt very healthy for you (im sure you know this) and i wouldnt advise of it Possibly do you have another place you can smoke it and store your paraphenlia other than your mothers house? because Say for some reason someone calls the cops and they see these objects your mother is then liable

 

in most cases mothers aren't harsh enough to throw you out for this. Make amends and either stop smoking weed while you're there or do a much better job of hiding the fact you do it. Keep in mind if you do hide it again and you get caught you WILL get in deep shit with your mom.

 

Yeah, I'm definitely going to stop smoking for a bit. I've been going back and forth with my mom for years about everything we just don't get along that great. I might try and move in with my grandma if things keep getting worse, she has a spare room and I could get another job to help pay for rent. Thanks for your replies.
