Post: what came before god?Spam, this post is not relevant to the conversation whatsoever. Asking about my personal belief in God has nothing to do with what came before him.

What I said was the context of the Bible written in my understanding. The question I feel able to answers that you have is relating to the sixth day for one. You're basing 6 days off of our calendar which derived from the Mayan calendar. The Bible gives no account in Genesis of how God measured each day that past. God created the Sun on the fourth day, so that should be an indicator to us that God never counted his "7 days" the way we count ours. As for the facts you posted; those were interesting. As for God slaughtering all of the first born egyptian babies in one single night. The reason why they were slaughtered because he asked Pharaoh to free his chosen people (the people of Israel) before he caused this action. The Pharaoh refused to release God's chosen people. Which he then claimed to be above God, which then made him a self-proclaimed demi-God or "idol" as the Bible says. So God had showed the Pharaoh mercy but offering to do no harm whatsoever if he freed his people. When the Pharaoh ignored God's request, God had given the Pharaoh and his people (the people of Egypt) punishment for not obeying him. Not to sound disrespectful, but you did take that initial statement completely out of context. Nonetheless, hopefully these two responses will give you feedback. Your statements and statistics about Steve Hawking and other highly intellectual people's religious were quite interesting as I said before so thank you for sharing that.
I also want to ask you, why do you think your god is real and others aren't? like the islamic god and the prophets?
