How is this the best the Republican's can come up with? I don't understand, He's horrible, not qualifed, shallow person. He lies so much, and he only says what people want to hear.

It's all about money. This election was half a billion dollars between two candidates.

You get money by pandering to lobbyists.

Lobbists get money directly from the ultra rich.

They spend over 40 billion dollars a year influencing *bribing* congress, supreme court, presidential candidates, and even local police departments.



Hence, we are not a land of laws but a classic oligarchy.

 

Im just glad im not in the U.S but i do like to follow the election's. There quite the show, really entertaining. Kinda reminds me of MGS the patriots script the whole USA elections and its just a big show put on for the public but in reality they have no say(Already kind of true)

 

I had to double check who you were talking about. When i started reading it sounded just like obama.

 

Obama only won because he was black 97% of blacks voted for him then it was just a toss up between white.

Nonetheless, instead of just throwing some things around, mind providing some examples?
If you want to talk about lies, Obama said he wouldn't be running for a second term if he added to the deficit. He "only" added 5 trillion (nearly more than every prior president combined) and is still running.

I myself am not Romney's biggest fan, but I'd take nearly anyone over Obama. Not counting after watching the last Presidential Debate, I thought Romney did a great job.

On a side note:
It bothers me that people just blatantly go "Obama2012" or "Romney2012" and have no knowledge about their candidate. There are kids at my school who say they're voting for Obama. I ask why. All the responses I get are "because Romney sucks" or something along that line. People who don't do research on who's running really shouldn't be voting.

Romney has great plans for America, but they're all apparently top secret - or at least that is what he said numerous time in the debate. Seriously though, Romney is an awful candidate but none of the other Republican candidates were any better. Obama is a better choice for sure, and whoever let a debate sway their opinion has no clue on the issues to begin with.

 

I don't have any more faith in Obama than I do other candidates, but when people say, "he only won because he's a black man" it's just blatant racism as it suggests that a black man couldn't win on their own merits but only on the sympathy of other white people.

On my way out of a building I saw a bumper sticker that said, "You only voted for Obama because he's black..." then had some other stuff written on it.

I deflated the back tire with a pocket knife. Stupid hicks from Alabama.



Every time a Democratic President win's it's usually because they are very well spoken, good public presentation, and has to pretend to care about the average person.

Republican candidates blatantly go out and say "most Americans are dirty, lazy and stupid - only the rich actually deserve anything"

and they can't get through a sentence, or answer basic questions without stumbling all over themselves.

It's embarrassing to witness just how disorganized and unprepared they are. As if they woke up that morning with no idea there would be a public speech required.

2.Since Obama took office, he inherited a HORRIBLE economy, we were on the peak of falling into another depression. We were losing over 500k jobs A MONTH. He's "broken laws" turned this around. We've seen job growth for over 2 years, Job is down at 7.8%. Ever since he took office more jobs were created than loss, positive record. He's administration killed one of the most notorious terrorists in the world.

3.Mitt Romney writes of 47 percent of the country before he even takes office.. How does that make him qualified to be our president?? If he said it HE MEANT IT. You can't take back something you say.. oh wait its Romney, he never has a permanent answer because he's always switching up his position to make the party happy, and the people happy so they vote for him.

I've recently taken an interest in politics, as I will be able to vote soon. I'm all for Obama. I used to dislike him because he said he'd take all troops out of Iraq in two years, and three years after he was elected, my uncle was killed there. So I had my reasons. Although, it's not entirely his fault. He can't keep every promise, no president can. They all lie, it's how they get elected. The president gets all the blame and all the congratulations when something bad or something good happens.

I like Obama. Romney can go fly to Mexico and stay hidden, for all I care. Obama has more promise than Romney. I'd rather not list a bunch of things. I watched the debate, and that was the turning point for me. Romney allegedly only cares about the rich. America, in general, isn't rich. Someone shouldn't run a country if they don't have every citizen's well-being in mind. Apparently Romney doesn't. That's enough for me.

 

Romney has no plans, he has goals.
He wants to have a bipartisan effort create steps toward the goals he wants to achieve, not push through laws only 50% of america wants.

African Americans only comprise 13% of the electorate. Democrats always get the black vote anyway. Obama won because he successfully appealed to young people, minorities, and women.
