Just some general hints and tips.

• The two partys decide who's going first (Making the payment first) or whether a MiddleMan will be used. A MiddleMan basically is given the RS Gold and payment first, then he hands each other. This allows no scam to take place.
• The price of RSGP generally depends on amount. The more you buy, the lower the cost generally is P/M.
• On Sythe, only go first to members who have a lot of vouches. Vouches are proof of completed transactions with previous customers, and show a member doesn't scam. If someone wants to trade with you and don't have many vouches, it's worth getting a MiddleMan.
• Some people may not want you to pay through PayPal. This is because PayPal payments can be disputed. If you can use another method, they'll normally be much happier.
• Some sellers have certain ways they wish to trade the gold to avoid RWT bans, etc. This could be staking the gold instead of just a flat trader.

I'd recommend using an Official MiddleMan, as well as trading someone with a high amount of vouches, in the hundreds. Vouches are when someone states their legitimacy for someone in the form of a 'vouch', which is like a token of trust. They may be slightly more expensive than the lower down users, but you are pretty much 100% safe, and you are not worrying about getting scammed. The safest payment method for the buyer isn't applicable, it's the seller that has problems after the trade with chargebacks that could take place.
