How did you find out about runescape?

My cousin told me to play it 10years ago

 

I found out about it through Miniclip, it was the number one game at the time.

Around ~2003-4 my cousin showed me the game while we were at my grandma's using her ancient computer, might even have been running Windows 2000. Anyway, he was walking around draynor village, and he was complaining about how he needed certain items, and I told him to just ask if anyone in the area has any to sell to him, and he freaked out and was like "Nooooo! They'll kill me if I talk!!!!"

Lol how derpin' he was, he didn't realize you can't attack people unless you're in the wilderness.Anyway, he let me play his account for awhile, which was pretty low level. He told me that his password was one of his cats names, and I later asked his mom what cats they had. She told me both the names, and I tried his username and tried "shadow" a couple of years later, after I knew he had quit the game. I played that account as my main until I got bored of it around ~2006 or so, then I made my own range pure, trained it until ~65 range, and then got sick of training it, so I turned it into the main I have today, ~130 combat with 2150+ total level, 13+ 99s. Ironically I've never trained Range again after I turned it into a main lol.

Also, from 3rd-5th grade my friends and I would love playing RS at each other's houses, so they really got me into it. I remember one of them had downloaded Scar, telling me it was some kind of bot, but he said that you had to pay for the scripts, so he never ended up using it. It's kind of funny to me that I was exposed to one of the oldest botting platforms at such a young age and I had no idea.

My friend told me about Miniclip and I was browsing through the games and see Runescape so I decided to try it out and got addicted to it. 6 years on, I still play.

 

My brother and his friends played, I joined and so did my friends.

 

Saw somebody playing at a library, asked him what game that was and he said runescape and i started playing.

 

At the Boys & Girls Club, everybody used to play it, so I decided to try it.

 

Miniclip, in 2005 some friends showed it to me addicted since then

 

I found out about it from my friends at school.

 

I heard friends talking about it back in school years and years ago. Then I started playing it.

 

Like..7 years ago a friend of me was playing it.. I was like lol that looks silly..but than I created my own account and got addicted to it within a few days lol
