Merchanting and flipping.

Can anyone explain to me how to flip? And how it is diff then merching. How much money do i need? ETC. thanks

 

Essentially they're the same except flipping is profit made in a day whereas merching is profit made over a long period of time.

Generally a mill is good starting money.

You can start any any cash pile really.
The main idea is to buy low, sell high.
Flipping is really buying a certain amount of x item, buying lower than the market price and selling higher than the market price. Ideally, you will want to do this as quick as possible, because the price of the item you are trying to flip, could increase or decrease.

 

Arrow and potions are the easiest to start with.

 

As well as runes, fish, and logs.

 

Any idea on how much i can make an hour doing this?

 

Lets say you wanted to flip a dragon full helm:

You would select it in the grand exchange then just hit the Up 5% button a few times (doing this will find you the max price for the helm)

After getting the helmet, you will then sell that same dragon full helm in the grand exchange for like 15-20% under (doing this will help you find the low price.

You then buy a few K or GP above the low, and when you get the items you sell for a little below the max.

Ive flipped 11m to 500m from 2008 to 2009, but atm flipping is slower cause' too many ppl are doing it. Im flipping with atleast MAX cash to make some lil profits. But If your talking about price speculation, thats a whoal other thing.

 

Flipping sucks. Im just going to pk its way faster.
