    Yews and profit/hour

Hi, recently started botting an old account and I've been doing yews, but it seems the profit/hour is really crappy. I'm pretty much getting more cutting oak than I do cutting yews, with a rune hatchet. It's probably because of how many people do yews these days but I was just wondering if the profit/hour is more in the members world than on f2p? Just wondering.

Depends. Are you getting low profit because people 'steal' your yews? If so the answer to your question is yes. If not it's just the market and getting P2P won't change anything to that.

Either way it's proven to be better gp/h if you pick flax. :p

I would assume so, I see no other reason, unless the bot is being really slow, which I don't think it is.

You should probably get membs then. More spots and more worlds.

The amount of people that crowd yews kills the profit most of the time.

bullshit . Dont say things unless you know them to be true, id love for you to provide any PROOF to show picking flax is faster money. While i could beleive this maybe when yews were >320gp a log they are damn near 500 a log now and pretty good money doing so legit. The only reason these guys bots are getting shitty hourly profit is due to competetion. The only time picking flax would even be comparable to cutting yews is if the world is PACKED and you have minimum woodcut level for yews (60ish) .

Theres more spots but they are just as packed . Your best bet is botting in between lummy and draynor everywhere else has too many people. That or trying to find a private bot that supports foreign language servers .

I just did a quick search and I found that Flax is picked at around 1.2k per hour.
This averages out to around 84k GP/hr with no XP gain.

If I remember correctly, F2P yews around 80ish WC was around 200-300ish logs/hour depending on competition. I think i averaged around 250 at the East Varrock (lumberyard) sites. Granted this was a long time ago, so the numbers maybe off a little bit. However, based on these numbers you should get around 120k GP/hour.

Getting P2P would allow you more free spawns and more importantly access to Dragon hatchets. I believe they cut faster and better than rune hatchets by 10%. The offside to this would be the cost of the hatchet itself.

    200-300 logs? I can't even get up to a 100.

Then I'm assuming you are around 70ish WC? At those levels you'll barely hit 60k/hour. If this is the case, I would prioritize xp/hour over gp/hour. You could try Maples on Demonheim. I'm not too sure about the gp and xp/hour but i would guess the gp/hour be similar to yews since it's easier to cut maples.

In terms on XP would be Willow>Maples>Yews. The reverse is true for GP

    Ikr?

Yeah, I'm at 77 woodcutting. Alright. I guess I'll focus on leveling up before I compete once again.
