Also, before I buy anything, I've heard many people are being banned for RWT, Will i get banned if I buy some gold?

If you don't want to be scammed then it's best to use a "Middle man". A middle man is someone who acts as the third person in the trade, but gains nothing from the trade. They hold the items, or gold for both the people then they give it to the right people (e.g, the person who is selling you gold gives it to the middle man, then you give your money to the middle man, the middle man then gives you your RSGP and the middle man then gives the seller his money). I hope that made sense...

However, don't use any middle man, here is a list of OMM (official middle mans), try to look for a free one as there are plenty of them, and these are highly trusted and there's about a 0.1% chance of them scamming you. That is the best option not to be scammed, but if you don't want to go through the hassle of using one then I have some more recommendations for you. Look to see when the member joined the forums, how many posts they have and most importantly their vouches. Vouches are notes made on the user when they complete a transaction, the more vouches they have, the more 'legit' they are likely to be. If a person has more than 20+ quality vouches, the chances are they won't scam (but there's always a chance they will, and it has happened!)

Furthermore, look at the "Report a scammer" thread to see if the person has an active scam report against them, if they do then DO NOT trade with them, here's the link to the report a scammer thread: http://www.sythe.org/forumdisplay.php?f=253

Lastly, if the price is VERY cheap, then it's probably too good to be true. Spend that little bit extra on someone who you know will deliver! Look around and see what the average price is, then combine looking at their profile and looking at their vouches to see if you want to trade with them.

It all comes down to personal judgement at the end of the day, if someone look dodgy, then they probably are! Don't waste your time with them.
