Giving infractions before warnings?

I understand that warnings are limited, but I never actually recieved one and I got 3 infractions. Totaling to 2 points now that SuF reversed it and gave me a warning like Shoop should of done. Depending on the severity of the post, I understand if it must be given. Regarding that, my post was far from spam. Actually it wasn't.

These are the rules of infractions being given upon it being "spam".

Users will receive 1 infraction for the following:
Spamming: (in general):
Posting short, unhelpful comments (such as "cool", "nice acc", "added", etc). This also includes "Free Bumps" for another user's thread.
Flooding a forum with replies for the sole purpose of increasing post count. This may also be a permanent forumban in certain forums, especially if deliberate.
Posting comments with little to no relevance to the topic
Creating multiple threads advertising the same thing, regardless of the section.

This was the post that was mine, and is considered to be spam.

Lets see if it's considered spamming.

- It wasn't short.
- It wasn't a thread were someone was looking for help.
- I only posted on that thread 3 times, so I wasn't flooding the thread.
- Posting comments with little to no relevance to the topic / It was 100% relevant to the thread.
- I wasn't creating multiple threads, so therefor it wasn't spam.

I understood the rules of spamming and because my "opinion" wasn't backed up with "facts" which are impossible to find to back up that kind of post. It was considered spam.

There is no facts to prove that a woman will never be president, but if you use logic will will know that america is filled with sexist idiots, and females who abide other females. I did exaggerated saying never, but maybe not in my lifetime is better.

Shoop, you're a modetator. You should know the rules of the forum. I can't believe I needed to post this.. Your actions were indeed bias like my post was, but unlike you there is logical reasoning behind that.

Also, none of the stickies apply to me either. I do not see a reason for giving me an infraction. Even a warning wasn't suppose to be established.

If the thread was in "Something for all" I could of received a warning for posting something like that. I'm not sure if you got the sections confused and what not, but I did receive another infraction from you for spamming. It was spamming, but I knew I replied posting more than what I originally have.

I first noticed that when SuF quoted the posted he reversed a warning for.

Either way, it should of been a warning not an infraction.

I got another infraction from frenzy, and I have no clue what the post is, so if a staff member can pm me what is considered spamming in whatever the post may be I'd appreciate it.


Sorry, this thread wasn't only to dispute my infraction, but to say that a lot of staff members that are allowed to give infractions, don't give warnings.

I may be wrong, but it does apply to me as I never received one during my first three infractions.

Is anyone else experiencing the same?


Also, the reason for me not pming Shoop about this, is because he wouldn't understand and I don't want to make a inbox reply war for things not needed. It was also the use of my example in this thread.

 

An inbox conservation is preferred especially because the issue was already dealt with by SuF. Snoop made a minor misjudgment and it's been corrected. If anyone feels they have been mistreated simply PM the moderator in question.
