Do any of you use WHONIX?

If any of you have experience with whonix (operating system) please post the pros and cons with it. Also how anonymous is it?

I have another laptop that I don't use and would like to have whonix as the main operation system not quite sure how I could get that to work though since the videos I've seen it runs through a VM (oracle virtual box)


If that doesn't work I was thinking about running kali linux and on top of that use a VM that connects to whonix
