Skeletal Articulation

So I have been looking for a new project and I am a macabre person so I thought buying a skeleton and articulating it myself. Here is the skeleton I am looking at: http://www.skullsunlimited.com/record_variant.php?id=6125

I was wondering if anyone had any experience in skeleton articulating?

 

Eww, having a skeleton in my house of anything would creep me out, don't you find it a bit creepy?>.< and what does articulating mean?

 

Articulating is where you take the skeleton and put it together in the same structure it had when it was alive then mount it for display. No, it isn't creepy. It's nature.

I wanted a Rook/Crow/Raven skeleton but they were anywhere from $450 to $650 and I am not dropping that on a first time skeleton.

I can't lie, this is rather bizarre. But i guess if thats what your into why not.

Id never heard of the term prior to reading this, perhaps you might have better luck seeking a forums dedicated/more relevant to this topic, i have a good feeling not many people here on Sythe share the same hobby xD

 

It's actually a rather common thing. It is done a whole lot in the biology, paleontology, and anthropology fields. It is more of a professional thing though because of the time it takes to do one. A human articulation can take a really, really long time.

And to clear things up this isn't like an active hobby of mine. I am just looking for something to do in my spare time besides wasting it on video games.
