Forum Requests Section

There is no current section where you are able to post a forum based request and get a response from staff who can help you in quite a while. At least I'm sure of that.

The Guides and Support center is basically for asking questions and requesting guides. I wouldn't want to post their because I may get an infraction, or wont get the response/action I wanted because no staff members are reading/acknowledging my thread.

So in the same section of the support center add "Forum Requests" / or make it a sub forum to "Help & Requests".

The new description can be:

Post any questions you may have about anything. You may also post any forum related requests, and or request for guides to be created here.

You can put it however you want it.


When I say forum related requests can be anything regarding the forums that a staff is able to change for anyone in anyway, unless sketchy activity is involved.

 

Can you give an example of a "forum request?"

 

Can you move/delete [this thread].

Can you [merge these accounts under my possesion] if possible.

Can you make a forums account for me? [Details inside/no password should be included].

Request a ban/temporary.

Request anything username related.

I mean there's a bunch of options, I just can't think of many since I'm not quite fond of what can be done and what can't.

 

This is what the report post function is for.

Dispute Forum.

PM any moderator, post in the Dispute Forum, post in the RaSc.

Name changes aren't allowed, bans are in the RaSc, unbans in the Dispute Forum... there's nothing other than that.

Well we already have a section for most of what you're saying - the Report a Spammer section. To get your title changed, thread locked, threads merged, etc. just report your original post.

The Dispute Forum - this can be used for account creation, disputing bans/twc's, requested bans (this can also be in the RaSc/PMed).

I don't really see a need for organization, if anything, a section for it all would disorganize it. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

 

You're correct about that analogy, although most things/features are changed and or added to improve efficiency and make it easier for those who need to get what is done/asked for.

 

Well, again, I don't see how this would improve efficiency as moderators already answer spam reports, PMs, RaSc reports, etc. when they get the time - and they're already organized.

If anything, this would disorganize the modwork as everything would all just be put in one place.

 

True. I agree with you, even if this doesn't get added I will no longer support this thread. You can close if you'd like.
