Captcha?

So I was with my friend the other day, and we saw the Captcha things.
We both thought they're incredibly hard, but does anyone feel the same?
I got an UPSIDE DOWN ONE while I was setting up my MSN today.

I like tiny pic's approach, to make the thing animated and moving to avoid these bots, not make it seemingly impossible.

Obviously this is much easier than some other ones.
It looks like it's all from the same company too, so are there different ones based on the host's traffic for bots?
Does anyone else feel the same about this?

 

For the most part I don't find Captchas too difficult, but that is not always the case. I've had a few that were literally impossible. One time my mom asked me to help her figure out a captcha on this one website, and we cycled through them together for 10-15 minutes trying to solve one. She ended up e-mailing a complaint to the site because the captchas were so difficult to solve :laugh:

 

They are too easy. I don't mind spending a few seconds to find out the word(s).

I never actually seen an upside down one before, but it isn't much a hassle to complete regardless.

 

Yeah, lately I've found some to be really hard to solve. In all, they're all much 'harder' to solve than before.

 

You're right, TinyPic has easy and simple captchas. They ARE harder than they used to be, I would've just refreshed if I had an upside down one. It's pretty ridiculous.

But yea, some captchas are ridiculous. If I get more than 5 captchas on a site that are crazy hard, I just dont sign up lol.

 

I fucking hate how hard Captchas are to solve these days. I even remember cycling through tons of different ones on Sythe when I first registered and it took me literally 10 minutes.

 

Yeah, I've noticed that the captchas has became so difficult nowadays.

On more than one occasion, I've received foreign captchas in Punjabi, French, Spanish, and even Latin. At least, I guessed the languages...

 

I hate the impossible ones, too hard to distinguish between certain letters or that blend into the background too well.

I also hate those pesky ones that give me foreign characters that I don't have on my keyboard.

Quite often I just reload the captcha a few times before even attempting it to try and get a decent one.

 

A google account captcha took me more than 10 tries. Urgh!

 

you realize that only one word of those captcha's you need to actually spell correctly, the other it doesn't matter what you write. this only applies to captcha's picture in the OP. the word that you need to spell correctly is usually the one that is in the same font (generally the same at least) and isn't in some sort of different language/upside down/a symbol.

I don't get why they make them so hard. Recently though I've seen these captchas that are like advertisements for cars and stuff.

I've tried doing around a thousand tries before with yahoo captchas, even when you enter them right it still keeps insisting it was incorrect, the only way I was able to pass through it was using a different browser.
