oldschool signature

Just found this on my old photobucket account-- it was my favorite signature I'd ever done. Just wondering what you guys think. Thinking of replacing my infinity sig with this one, forgot how much I liked it c:

 

I think I may remember when you posted this originally, or maybe I am thinking of a similar sig.

 

I don't remember ever posting it, I may have linked people to my photobucket or deviant art account though in a thread years ago. In which case, you would have had a chance to see it already

 

i love it, really nice work. nothing much more to say about it. but just replace it if you feel like it. art is personal. don't care too much bout our input on wheter u should put it instead of what u have now

 

This. Pretty sure you either posted it in the portfolio thread or in a separate thread somewhen - I like the signature, though I'm not sure if you want me to give c'n'c.

Loving the washed out feel though, have a soft spot for that :3

Regardless, I do like it. Use it instead of the infinity one

 

I love the brightness and smudging used in this one. It all flows well, and the smudging isn't chaotic like some people usually tend to do. It's a very good sig, and you know it if you want to replace your current signature with it . I do say though, I do like the sharpness on it aswell.

 

I've love a bit of your legendary +/- cnc c:

 

+ washed out colours (though that's more to personal taste)
+ choice of colours is quite nice
+ nice focal placement
+ depth/flow and the oldschool factors are quite nice
+ whilst I'm not a fan of cinematic borders, it works quite nicely in this case methinks
- floating head syndrome
- depth isn't nearly as important as composition - generally the tag needs more effects, and whilst I like it a lot, the right side does seem a little empty
- text is quite basic, I'm sure you could easily do far better with a little more experimentation in terms of kerning, fonts, sizes etc
- the sharpness has left a few bits (like his fringe above the text) looking slightly low quality?
