Making a pure for upcoming combat change.

It really all depends, no one can give you accurate feedback because none of us know exactly what the combat update is going to be like, my only suggestion would be for you to create a pure that you desire, once combat update is released, mold it into whatever deems best.

As for pure suggestions, there are lots of ways you can go. Either you're more of a fan of Melee, you can make a warrior, same for Range and Magic. However Runescape is so diverse now you almost need a hybrid (assuming you have experience switching).

Just mold your account as time goes on, for example, my pure now is 99 attack, 99 strength, 99 hp, 99 prayer, 99 mage, 99 range, 4 def (messed up with whip back in the day) plus it is a skiller.

You can't really ask suggestions on what pure to make because you nee the experience of every account, you need the experience of pking as a hybrid or else you're going to go in and get dominated by low level pures and it will ruin the experience for you.

Start a pure using things that you're comfortable with then train and learn more about it as time goes on but don't make a pure based on the combat update when no one knows how it's even gonna be!

Just make a skiller for now. Don't try and predict what will be the best after the combat update as you will likely get it wrong and have wasted the account.

Make a Mage turmoil pure

 

Like someone said earlier, wait until after the update. This is because there have been rumours going around about not having a special attack but some sort of ability instead. This could drastically effect a pure account.

 

i feel i am in a quite good situation atm i have a 1 def pure with 99 range and mage mid range constitution and 60 att and str

my idea is that i will be able to change the defence for the ideal level

 

tbh Mage turmoil i fell in love when my cousin left me he's to pk on while he was on holiday... but i can't really comment as i have no idea about new changes toward combat.. is there a link anybody could post so i can update myself?

Best to wait it out, but updates will always have effect on how good an account can be. Maybe defence levels required for new quests / spells etc, you never know.

 

Turmoil is going to be sick, go for that!

 

Bot sw, train when the combat update is out.

Personally, I suggest you prepare yourself to make a mage/range tank, since its cb might be lower than melee even after EoC.

 

Seen as there taking away special , so I would go with high attack but nobody can predict just do quest for Gloves and items you could need and when it does change see what you can do and train.
