How/what are/ bots and clients?

I decided I'd start playing runescape again, but in addition to playing, I thought I'd create my own bots (scripts). Are there any recommendations on what I should learn and where I should learn it? As in any videos or books I should pick up that'll teach me everything I need to know about scripting.

Also, Simba is a client right? Would it be possible to create your own client?

Also...Why is Simba so highly recommended ( at least on this forum)

SImba is highly recommended because its easy, does good job, has a good community, long history, safe/can't be detected.

As for making your own client... you'll need some pretty heavy programming skills.

 

You will need high and advanced programming skills to make your own client.

Simba is a colour-based bot with a huge community supporting it on villavu. It is driven more by good-will rather than profit and so it gets lots of support easily.

 

it's up to you what you want to learn, but i also suggesst you to learn pascal
simba is safe and great =)
but you also can try out all other aviable bot client, just read the stickies (you also come there when you click the link in my signature, current and future bots)
