    Blotting Out Stats?
    Why do people blot out\edit out certain stats when they show their skills sometimes. Wouldn't it just be easier to not give out the name of the account? Does it even really matter? Just wondering, something I never really understood/

    its rumored jagex can find out your character by their stats

    most people do both things but yeah... jagex can supposedly find your name by them

    If you have been taken a picture of you standing in the Church in Lumbridge, with all of your stats showing, JaGeX might be able to link the stats and location to you = ban.

    It is not proven that Jagex will be able to locate your account and ban for RwT, but it is rumoured that this may happen.

    It is merely an extra precaution. Just blot out a few of your bad stats.
