Would SW be faster Slayer exp?

Just a question as I saw a video of someone with 63 slayer who used 10,000 zeal to get to 99 or 98...w/e.

Or normal slayer exp be better.

 

Soul wars is a horrible way of training slayer. Playing 24 hours a day, you barely get 100-125 zeals a day. That means it will take you about 80-100 days of constant soul wars to get to 99. On the other hand, doing normal tasks at 20K exp/hr (which is a very slow estimate--most tasks are 30-75k exp/hr) you can get to 99 in 650 hours or about 27 days. That also doesn't include the hundreds of millions of drops in dragon bones, ashes, rare drop table, and monster drops that you end up getting--and 99 slayer ends up around 94-96 Summoning banked, as well.

Basically:

Soul Wars: Takes about 2000 hours total. Negligible extra exp gained.

Slayer Tasks: Takes around 650 hours. You'll also end up with about 100-200m in drops, about 7-10m Summoning xp worth of charms, and about 40m combat exp gained.

 

Soul Wars [slayer leveling] is for level 3's who want a high slayer level.

Thanks for the insight kero and @webber, you're right, the guy who got SW was a level 3 skiller. thanks, ill do slayer after 99 herblore.

 

what kero said. i would note if done correctly, you will earn well over 500m off slayer roughly ish.

unless you have a epic sw bot, and arn't afriad of ban chance, and don't need 99, do SW, other then that the exp ratio is crappy, plus you will also level other statrs while doing slayer the right way, and i also beleive slayer earns you less exp then other stats at soulwars.

 

it would takes months of 24/7ing sw to get 10k zeal

 

Lol no its not a good way to get your slayer up simply because soulwars aims more at combat skills range/str/attack/hp/def but can be nice way to get some charms

Sorry to burst your bubble, but slayer drops have been destroyed in price. Unless you religiously loot all dragon tasks and Infernal Ashes tasks, it's actually fairly hard to slay for profit. Most people use a rapier, extremes, and cannon tasks like Bloodveld, Hellhound, and Dagannoth, so getting anywhere near 500m is basically impossible. :noworry: Damn them bots.

 

when i got around 94 slayer what i was at, but i did GWD for greaters task, and dag kings for daggs, but then again i havn't done slayer in prob a good 5-6 months.

 

Unless you're an extremely low level; slayer tasks are better.
