Paypal Scam

I just sold 250m RSGP to some kid who paid in incriments and the first two went smooth and were from the same paypal account and the last payment was from a different account that i did not notice untill it was too late. That account then filed an unauthorized claim and i don't know what to do. I have tried to explain that this is a scam and i tried to show them that this was a legitimate sale and in the notes states for 100m rsgp each time and the two others were for 100m and then 50m.

Basically what do i need to do already called them etc... Have you ever had this happen and how did it turn out?

 

Unfortunately, PayPal do not provide any support for Virtual Item trades. So it's very likely you will lose your money. PayPal has always been a pain to members on Sythe. I'd recommend trying out several other Payment methods such as Western Union, PlayerAuctions or MoneyPak.

If you have adequate proof, you should be able to create a Scam Report against this kid.

 

If he is from sythe, please make a scam report. And for the paypal problem. You won't really win the case :/

Next time be careful and use paypal throu playeracutions.

 

Post in "report scammer" section with enough proof to ban him? there's like nothing you can do anymore.

I was a victim to this charge-back scam too.

Too bad PayPal doesn't support virtual item trade. The best you can do is the get that person banned on Sythe.

Unfortunately they found me through sythe but aren't a member... So its ok but i have contacted PP and we are working to stop this.

 

It's possible to win charge-backs with PayPal. Just explain the trade; include Sythe and the things being traded. It'll boost you with points. Chances are low, but it's happened to me and I've won virtual charge-backs. Hope this helps.

 

Sorry to say, but you're not going to win an authorized payment charge back unless the sender didn't know exactly what he's doing, which I doubt.

Most you can do is get him banned on sythe.

 

get a sythe mod to grab his ip adress trace it il go with you show up at his house and kick his ass! down with scammers

 

The Sythe Moderators wouldn't let this happen. They're not allowed to give away the I.P addresses of other users regardless of whether they've scammed you or not, even with proof. Not to mention turning up to someones house to 'kick his ass' is very unprofessional.

 

EEhhh i would do that honestly i just had 1 more 70$ sale that is being disputed after i did everything... look out for theese emails all! and be aware of Legitpancake... On sythe he is a scammer.

Honestly i think theese are all the same person because the emails are similar. They have issued refunds on all 3 purchases and a total of over 300$.

 

What will sythe do to help they will ban them but then they just make a new account... Thats pointless sythe wont refund me so i find no point in going through the effort to ban someone...

 

If they make a new account, it's called "Ban Evading" , The mods will just ban him again.

 

Make a report anyway, the staff can check the I.Ps to see if they're close.
