Type of scam : Recovered account. I bought the account in Early January from Bawsz thru xKronic (I had no idea I did until I found an old Pbot post about the same account by Bawsz, who is original owner of account) for $400. All was fine until early March when I came home from a field excercise and realized I couldn't login. I tried to recover but everything was already changed. I have been trying to contact him ever since, but had no responses on msn. He just now started talking to me after I posted on his account sale thread on Pbot. Did some research on Pbot and found out it was being sold by "Bawsz" who is banned on sythe, so the account was sold to me for bawsz by xKronic.

-----The account was being sold by a guy by the name of "Bawsz". Email [email protected]. I believe he is currently banned on Sythe, so xKronic sold it for him.

Anything else you can provide that might help: While I was talking to him about recovering the account, I checked to see if he had actually put in an recovery appeal, and when I did, there was no request in. Anyone who has tried recovering accounts knows that when a request is put in you cannot put in another request until the previous one is settled (either accepted or denied). 3 hours later, still no response from Jagex? Hmm. Every time i've tried an account recovery it doesn't take more than an hour for Jagex to respond. So, he was completely full of BS. I'm still trying to work this issue out with him but it seems like all he has is excuses. I'm out $400, I don't want anyone else to be scammed.

Update: Well this morning he told me the account recovery appeal was denied.. Which is funny because one was never put in.

Anyways I'm reporting this in hopes that I will get my money back so I can buy from a legit seller. I know he several people know him so if someone could please help me out that would be highly appreciated. And i understand that he has asked for a ban due to other issues. But we'll see what happens. THanks.

 

There isn't much we can do about a banned member sorry.
