Is void elite worth "ruining" my tank ranger

I have been looking into gettin void elite for some time now, just for boss monster fighting like gwd ad what not.
My stats are 70atk 70str 80def 99range 84mage 74 prayer 90hp
One of the reqs for void stares back is 78 atk and strength....
You can get 74-73without changing to being melee based. But would it matter for me. Or would it be worth it to gain those 3 or 4 combat lvls
(currently 105 comb but with 55summ

 

I would say no if your trying to stay a tank... void elite only offers a prayer bonus, no extra offense or defense

 

yeah the prayer bonus isnt worth it

 

well its not really a tank if your str and attack lvls are the same lol
but void elite is pretty useful but I dont think you should ruin your acc for armour your just using for gws, id just use like bandos instead etc
So no I wouldnt ruin it

 

Void isn't really good for boss hunting (aside from tds)

 

Just start or buy another account for doing godwars with. You can probably get a main on here capable of doing it relatively cheap.

 

Void stares back is a requirement for swift gloves as well, so it could be worth it. Stupid how the best range gloves make you melee based though.

 

Swift gloves? I haven't even heard of those. I'm on old time rs player haha only recently came back the past few months

 

It's only a bit extra prayer/summoning bonus. Don't bother, keep your tank tbh

Then get SS eventually.... Any ideas?

Definitely not worth it- but the quest cape that could be obtained from having all quests completed might be worth ruining my barrows pure.

i would definitely say no the only advantage it offers is prayer bonus which isn't really a big deal worth getting 3 of 4 combat levels over.

 

You can't use gloves with void :/

 

You can, and even if not, you can use swift gloves with other gear.
