Too lazy to type up something again, so I'm copying and pasting what I did on the RS forums... I just need info on anything rs.

Its been a couple of years since I really played Runescape very actively. I love the game and I would love to get back into it. I am a 136 in members, idk if you can search my stats if I'm a nonmember now but feel free to ask. Uhh the last thing I remember about RS was that I played like 3 months before those clan citadels or the membership rewards points, whichever is older.

I am looking for info about anything in the game, like honestly. I dont know what a coinbag is, I don't know what lodestones are. I would like to know some of the harder quests, is there any new dungeoneering puzzles, is there new monsters that are good for training melee, what are the most practical things for slayer, what is the best cape now for my level, what are the new best ways to train skills, what is the biggest update since I have been inactive, is there still bots, are there still ge and street prices, has there been any really important changes in any of the skills, is there new good weapons, new armor for my level, new achievement diaries, new quests that are important to due, are those membership rewards even helpful at all or are they not important, what are the new bosses...

Those were just the random questions that came to mind, the point I was basically trying to make was I would really appreciate it if anyone could fill me in on anything that is important to know if Id like to start playing runescape and the main changes and things pertinent to my level character and shit. thanks niggas

Oh and how much Do Pins cost on sythe now? someone should hook a brotha up.

Oh and I'd like to say I would really appreciate any help at all that you guys can offer me, I know there is probably a ton for me to learn or relearn so information that you guys can offer me is super helpful. Thanks ))

 

Lodestones replaced home teleporting. Now you can "load" (teleport) to a loadstone in any city. Lumbridge,varrock,falador... etc. Also there is not time cost. Botting is back to high, most big bots came back in to operation in the last 2 months. Kiln cape is best cape atm, but you have to defeat 7 jads and the baws. The membership rewards are kinda helpful, but in my opinion just another gay update.

 

There's new armour from the boss called 'Nex' that drops Torva (Melee), Pernix (Range) and Virtus (Mage) which I think are the best armours in game reason being they are so expensive.

At the moment, they sell somewhere between 6-13m. I personally would recommend SkyHighDreamer, his shop is pretty well set up, at 10m a pop.

 

He last played 3 months ago. Nex was released over a year ago.

Loadstones. These are basically a circular stone you can teleport to. There's one in almost every city, the common ones anyway. You have to go to each one and left click it, to activate it, to be able to Home teleport there. Before Home teleport would bring you to Lumbridge, Lunar Isle or Edgeville depending on your spellbook. You can now home tele to all these 3, when on any spell book, and several more. You can find where you can activate each one of these loadstones here.

Loyalty points are basically used for Auras, coloring of different items (Robin hat, Slayer helm etc.) and emotes. Every month you are a member you get points. And the longer you're a member for, the more you get per month. It maxes at a certain point.

Auras are extremely helpful, an example is Penance. For every damage you take, you gain prayer points. Extremely helpful, saves your prayer potions and it helps a ton when paired with a divine. Others can lifesteal. You can find the list of auras here.

A coin pouch, or a coin bag as you called it, is another way of inserting coins. If you have coins in your inventory, right click and click "Add to pouch". The pouch can hold max cash. Anything in the pouch does not get dropped, even when killed in the wilderness. It's basically a bank. If you have a bank pin, you need it to access it just like a bank. You don't have to input the pin once you've accessed your bank. All money you get from monster drops, Grand Exchange, Staking, Trades etc. goes directly into the money pouch. You can find the money pouch near the world map, near the XP button.

There are no new dungeoneering puzzles. But it's worth to mention now that when someone picks up a key, every can use that key and you can see the keys your party has on the top left corner. It helps speed up floors and lost keys that accidentally go into a member's inventory.

No new monsters really. Except Glacor, but that's for charms. You have to do Ritual of the Mahjarrat, sequel of WGS, to access it. They drop a lot of blues and you average around 60k summoning exp there per hour (I heard it, never tested). You have to mage them, it's effective. The last fire spell (Fire wave I think) is what you should use. They drop boots, basically an upgraded version of the Dragon, Ranger and infinity boots. The melee boots (Steadfast) are currently worth 40M. The Glaiven (Range) boots are worth around 18M and Ragefire (Mage) boots are around 9M. You also get shards to build an Armadyl staff and craft its runes. From what I heard, it's good magic experience and you usually don't lose money. You gain quite a bit.

For slayer, I suggest auras. Nothing really new there.

Best cape, Completionist. You need 99 in all skills. You can however get the upgraded version of the fire cape, it's called Tokhaar kal. It gives +8 Strength bonus. The completion of The Elder Kiln is required to be able to enter the fight kiln. It's extremely hard and I suggest you go to a kiln caper for this. You face a total of 7 Jads, at one point 2 at the same time, then another boss. I suggest you check this thread if you want one. He does it for a great price, he is extremely friend and I highly recommend you use him.

There was a release of Ganodermic Creatures, it's not really worth killing them unless you have 95 Slayer and can kill the Ganodermic Beast. You average 2.5M per hour there and you get tons of high leveled seeds. They also drop materials used to create armor and charge a staff. The armor has the highest magic soak (52%) and the highest magic defense. It's for mages and gives a nice mage boost. I think the release of this and the Storm of Armadyl (Ritual of Mahjarrat required) is the biggest update. It changed pking. Watch a few Storm of Armadyl pure pking. The mage def received from the Ganodermic armor is insane and you can pretty much kill jad yourself using protect range and tanking its mage hits. The staff you can get and charge from Ganodermic creatures is a good thing for pures. It's more powerful than Ice Barrage, but it doesn't freeze. You do not need the spell book to use it. So if you have a pure, you don't really have to do Desert Treasure. Just use Entangle, Teleblock and Polypore Staff. A nice combo is venging and using this.

There still are bots, no where close to as many as there were, but quite a bit. More than you think. New achievement diary is Morytania. Membership rewards are extremely helpful.

The dominion tower. You can get pretty good rewards from this. Dreadnips, Goliath Gloves (melee), Swift Gloves (Range) and this other mage glove. RSwiki it, I'm not going to rswki everything you for lol.
