Im sick tired of these annoying persons that says that. We are all humans and a blank text in a random web page that you're browsing can not make you feel safe to do trades. Everyone that I tried to trade here on sythe says "you're an newcomer, fuck off I do not wanna trade with you, you're gonna scam anyways and getting banned after a week when you registered"

Can't everyone just realize it that everyone here is a human? we aren't just some machines that type all this shit here.

and flame me away, I am just a newcomer and I do not know shit about anything, I am just a NEWCOMER. Keep that in mind, newcomer or not, everyone is still a human.

 

Sorry you feel that way, but for most people, there are two different sides of them when it comes to the internet. People are just cautious when it comes to newcomers. It takes time to build vouches. If you are not comfortable to going first in a trade, suggest to use a Middle Man. It's a whole lot safer (as long as you pick a trusted MM), and it earns 2 vouches instead of 1.

It just takes time, and most (if not all) people are just cautious when it comes to trading. Nobody likes getting scammed.

 

If he doesn't trust people with vouches then he won't trust OMM's, they're just the same, people with vouches.

 

Exactly, the only difference of being an "omm" or a normal person is that "omm" has that silly picture under his name.

 

You are not obligated to "trust" anyone. A users terms of service, though, are personal. What is the purpose of this thread?

Vouches, for a matter of fact is a good indicator of someone's credibility. If a person has 50 vouches compared to a newcomer who has a few vouches, wouldn't it make sense to view the person with 50 vouches as more credible? The vouches he has represents the amount of successful trades he has completed and therefore makes him more credible..

And i'm pretty sure only a minority of the users will tell you to fuck off xxx just because you are new.

You probably gave them bad trading conditions, like perhaps expecting them to go first to you despite them having a ton more vouches than you.

Yes we are all human, why do you want them to go first? You're a human too and they likely have the same thought as you, so don't rage at people of they want to be safe.
Also vouches prove people have traded before and they haven't scammed, if you're not willing to trust anybody, why should they trust you?

Yes were all human, but to its just by nature to be cautious when you're dealing with people you've never spoken to in real life. Ok here's a scenario for you.

Let's say you join the military (Not sure what country you're in) and your country goes off to war. Are you going to go out there with nothing because you trust the enemy not to shoot you? No, you're going to go fully loaded and prepared.

I know it's a silly scenario, but it makes sense. You're on a forum where about 50% of the people here are scammers which causes everyone to be incredibly cautious. That's why I don't call Sythe "Sythe" I call it Vietnam, because we don't know who the enemy is...

 

I don't see why you think OMM are not trusted, if you used them then you would gain vouches and people would start trusting you to go first.

Most of the newcommers scam, such as someone did to me. About the trade, I don't know why they only want to use OMM and you pay the fees or you have to go first. Also since they are new, you probably don't have anyway to show your legitimacy. Unfortunately this will never stop, newcomers will always be fishy for some people.
Start building up some trust and vouches, good-luck!

There's a BIG difference between the "humans" with vouches and those without. Like those above me have said, many newcomers scam, but many more are also legit. If you're legit, then just accept that you're going to be viewed as untrustworthy for some time. Deal with it, gain some trust, and eventually you'll have enough credibility to treat newcomers the way you were treated, thereby keeping the cycle going.

Trust isn't gained overnight. It takes time and it takes patience. If you don't have either, then don't complain when the people who have put in the effort to make a name for themselves don't trust you.

 

You have to take into consideration that no one wants to be scammed; if you're in their position, I doubt you'd go first to any random member. They have records of trades, while you don't, so they don't want to take the risk of getting scammed to someone they have no idea whether or not they are trustworthy. As you go on, you'll gather vouches, and you'll become "trusted" in some members eyes. Everyone starts from somewhere, so don't take it too harsh. Just go first to trusted members, you'll get your trades done, and you'll go farther on this site.

No, being an OMM shows you have been trusted with various amounts of money, and you have the ability to "professionally" middleman.

 

An omm has undergone a rigorous application to ensure the omm's picked are the utmost trustworthy individuals.

 

We have a vouch thread for a reason you know. Without the vouch system, there would be a lack of trust amongst members.

I know that being a newcomer here is hard. I was trying to sell upgrades here on my first day. It was really hard to get sales because people were saying "Probably a scam, look out". But look at me now.

If you're having vouch problems I feel bad for you, son, i've got 99 problems but a vouch ain't one.
