    I have a Macbook pro, a long time ago there used to be a bot that ran in both Windows and Mac OS. Are there any bots like that now?

    Not really, you'll need to have a VM (Virtual Machine) set up to run a bot.

    Both EpicBot and RareBot function on Macs (at least in the Linux version, which is a .Jar). Haven't tried the actual mac editions, but both Jar's work fine for me running OSX 10.6.8.

    Simba and RiD both work great on virtual machines. I strongly suggest you look into this guide which includes all the information and tools on setting up a virtual machine. If you need any help setting one up & running Simba/RiD on it, PM me, and I'll be glad to help.
