Alistair Overeem Tested Positive For PED's

I do like Overeem but his T/E levels were off the chart.

Are you really surprised? Look at that guy..

 

Believe it or not, this is the first time he has tested positive to PED's. He use to be a light heavyweight so at 6'5 at 205 pounds he was pretty skinny but just started going Hulk when he moved up to heavyweight. Because of this, he always use to get tested and never failed a test.

 

That guy is so huge obviously he was on something.

 

It's his first test he has ever failed so you can't say that's why he is so big.

 

Disappointing to say the least. Not sure if he will still be fighting junior still as I've heard his appearance in front of the NSAC is scheduled after UFC 146. But I have a feeling that rumor is false as if he does win and it turns out he was in fact on steroids that wouldn't be good. Dana white said at the post fight press conference for the fuel Tv event, yesterday that someone will be addressing the overeem situation to the public soon but he didn't wan't to talk about it. We'll see what happens.

 

Yes, yes you can. So many professional athletes are on juice and passing a urine test is easy. They usually just taper off a little while before hand

 

Well, there is no solid proof so unless there ever was, you can't say he has taken it, the majority of people who say he is on steds are jealous.

 

Testosterone abuse is very easy, it has a half life of 8 days so he just needed to cycle off. He wouldn't have got caught if it wasn't for random testing.

Had he just did the mandated testing just before and after the fights, his T/E levels would be well within the normal limits.

 

Anyhow, I reckon he will get the fight because he seems confident, Dana after being so angrysasays everyone deserves a trial etc. Plus, I can see him getting the licence, winning, Santos saying its unfair which it is, getting rematch and losing again.
