New scam method, WATCH OUT!

Recently Jagex released the option to "buy" spins of the squeal of fortune.

There is many ways to buy them, including paypal, SMS, and Credit/debit card.
You may wonder why I highlighted Credit card.. Basically, when you buy membership using a debit/credit card, it says all of the information. When you go to buy squeal of fortune spins, using a credit card, that information will automatically be there, and you can just click continue.

If somebody is skilling on your account, without your bank pin, they can empty your whole bank account on spins.


I suggest before you let anybody on your account, go to the squeal of fortune, go to buy spins, select credit card and then REMOVE your card details.

 

Are you sure it's not saved by just the browser cookies or whatever? But yes definitely look out for this.

 

100% sure. I ordered it on a differant computer.

 

This is why i always make sure to remove my Debit Card after i buy membership. Good Thinking.

i probably wouldnt ever be affected by this scam considering the 263985723879723897 bronze knives in my bank from the wheel, but i could def see someone with some better luck or just after some of the rares dumping money into this and getting scammed thanks for the heads up .

Pretty sure it works if you just use it. I subscribed for recurring and cancelled it, and it was like that for me.
