Please note, your bracket cannot be filled out until March 11th. However I can still invite you to the pool and get you set up so it'll be easier to do on the day.

Hey guys, for those of you watching the upcoming March Madness tournament here’s your chance to fill out a bracket for RSGP! If you are unfamiliar with March Madness brackets, you simply predict which of the 64 teams participating will win each game. Whoever predicts the most accurately wins the prize pool!

Here’s an example of a bracket:

The pool will be run on Yahoo and the winner will be the one that accumulated the most points. Points are earned by predicting the winners of each round. Obviously, picking the winner of a later round earns more points.

Picking winners for these rounds earn the following points:

Round of 64: 1
Round of 32: 2
Regional Semi-finals: 3
Regional Finals: 5
Final Four: 7
Championship: 10

Rules:
- You can have up to 5 brackets
- Each entry costs 10m
- 90% of all buy-ins are added to the prize pool.
- You must pay your buy-in before creating a bracket. If you are caught trying to make a bracket for free, you must either pay or you will be kicked from the pool and will not be entitled to your buy-in back.

How to join:

Add my MSN [email protected] or PM me to pay your buy-in of 10m. I will be collecting buy-ins and giving them to Pockets (link to his vouches http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1125994) to hold onto. I have given Pockets my RSGP as a sort of down payment to ensure that I give him all buy-ins (confirmed on 9th post). Once you have paid, I will instruct you on how to sign up for the pool.

Also I think we should have a payout system that pays to more than one person depending on how many people sign up

 

No idea who any of these teams are, But for 10m count me in.

 

I'm sure if you talk with an admin they'd give the go ahead for the competition winner rank as well to add to the prize pool

I'll do my best.

Anyways there are 64 teams participating in the tournament, each of them ranked based on their season performance. To start off, you predict which 32 teams will win their match-up and make it to the next round. For each team you pick correctly, you get 1 point. After the first round, look at the bracket to see who each of your 32 picks will be playing if they did indeed win. From there, select 16 winners out of the 32 match ups and repeat this process until you pick who will win the whole championship.
