[Punjabi3] Ban Dispute

I was recently banned for allegedly scamming a user for an amount of gold, in a trade that was for an upgrade. The thread containing his evidence is located at this URL: http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1350692.

Technically speaking, the individual who reported me did not even follow the guidelines that you hold when reporting any allegation you may have. Par your Templates for Reporting a Scammer -- MUST USE! (http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1118369), the guidelines were obviously not followed, and the template was not used, dispute the message in all capital letters at the end of the thread's title. The report, following your guidelines, should have looked like this;

The next point I want to bring up, now that the template has been proven to have not been followed, is the user's first sentence. satsuki, the user who has the allegation against me states, "bassicly this guy seems legit as ever ,he has a vouch for 100m rsgp sale and all that".

He alludes to the fact that I have been on Sythe for over a year, and have completed a variety of successful trades. He blatantly calls me "legit as ever", in his opening line of the report.


The next point I would like to convey, is his use of MSN images only as proof. Not only did he not provide a picture of any type of trade occurring, but the MSN images he originally posted were INVALID, as stated by the moderator who received the report.


Punjabi3, the moderator who received the report, stated himself,

Not only does he cite a lack of communication between myself the my accuser, he says that he cannot see any proof of my MSN even conversing with the individual. satsuki, frustrated I assume, then replied with a generic statement saying that he could see it in the first five pictures, and that I attempted to scam, completely ignoring the topic of Punjabi3's concern. Obviously, if a moderator states that he cannot see the evidence, he cannot see the evidence, so would it make any sense for him to refer back to his original evidence as proof?


If you take a look at the screen-shots in the thread, (again, http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1350692) you can see that you cannot make out any details whatsoever due to their size and the markings on them.


Another point I would like to go back to, is that fact that he has NO proof of the trade happening, just a line of text that says

. I was not aware that a line of text could be used proof that a trade occurred, or am I grossly mistaken?



Briefly, too, I would like to examine satsuki's personal motivations and his offenses that are blatant. The DAY BEFORE his allegations surfaced, he was caught and presumably infracted trying to buy a PIN on Sythe (refer; http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1350548) The same moderator, Punjabi3, handled this case of him attempting to purchase a pin, so you would assume he is familiar with the user satsuki.


In addition to attempting to buy pins, he has been caught engaging in other detrimental behavior, including receiving a FALSE VOUCH. Please refer to post #13 on this http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1332329.

Clearly, the individual (who is now banned), says

. In the NEXT post, though, satsuki himself states that he never completed a trade and that he is still selling the account.

IN ADDITION to the false vouch, he is also WARNED, AGAIN BY PUNJABI3 for committing an offense. He had bumped his thread MANY times, and Punjabi3 warned that he may only have one bump every eight hours. (Refer to post 33, for this warning). satsuki's response was that he did not know- this was 10 days before his allegations against me. Non-factual, but still alarming, you would think an individual who has been on the website since November of 2010 would have a mild understanding of the rules. These last few examples, however, prove he was not knowledgeable about the rules and a sketchy character to deal with on Sythe.


All of these factors, including not following the template, badgering a moderator to impose his personal will upon a thread by consistently bumping it, his own shady dealings on Sythe, his attempted purchase of a pin days before the allegations against me, and various other infractions of the rules should show that satsuki cannot be trusted. Not only did he not provide ample evidence against myself, he provided next to NO evidence, against myself. The fact that I was banned was a gross injustice, and that is why I have typed this appeal. I do respect your forthcoming decision on the matter, but I hope that my evidence that I have concretely provided, as opposed to the unreadable MSN logs, no proof of a trade, and shady factors that satsuki brought forth, will be hailed as the truth as it occurred. I thank you for reading my appeal, and apologize for the length- I was not able to accurately convey everything I needed to voice without doing so thoroughly. I have been an active and contributing member of Sythe for a year, now, and I hope to remain so after the truth has been sorted out.

 

The screenshots were 800x800 at the time I judged them and were all valid, I had missed the email at the top and it was later shown in majority of the screenshots which showed proof towards your ban, I am still attempting to figure out how to make them full size again as I don't know how they shrunk to such a small size.
