I have a feeling this isn't the real life.

After thinking it throughly i have a feeling everyone around me is a fake how do i know i'm not dreaming right now because sometimes when i sleep and dream i get this dreams that after a while happen like some sort of deja vu. I have a feeling everyone i know might just be a program... or something in my mind. If i jump of a bridge right now Will i wake up? I keep thinking of this. I don't know what to do now i don't find this life real anymore.

 

Sometimes my dreams happens to. And yes you are in the real life.
Go take a shower, eat alot, and think about what's wrong with your life, and CHANGE IT.

 

I've been thinking of what will happen when i die. Will it be like sleeping time passes by quickly and it will be dark. or where will my soul go... is this life a test?

I was having the same conversion with my roomie the other day, asked him what if one day we woke up and it was all just a dream he is a hardcore christian and said his thoughts on religion disapproved that rofl

 

I find this offensive because if you are right hen iam fake?

 

When I was younger I thought the exact same as you're explaining now. Just go hang out with your friends and have fun, don't think about it and soon you will forget.

 

Im pretty sure everyone has thought this before once in their lives. But you never know, then again dont put curiosity above caution and do something drastic just to find out life is indeed real >.>. Just wait until the answer reveals itself to you, thats all we can do IMO.

 

I don't really care because what we think will only make me enjoy my life less.

In all seriousness, you have got to be kidding me. Everyone wants to believe in an afterlife so that they can believe that the life they are going through is not pointless.

In my eyes, there is no afterlife and when you kick the bucket you are gone. But that doesn't mean there is no point to life: to me, the point of life is what you bring to the world (including any children you may have).

 

I could pull the religious card on you, but I don't think you want to hear that right now.

I remember discussing this topic in my Ethical Reasoning class. I forget who believed this (Socrates, Plato, etc), but they believed that life was, in essence, a dream world that masked over the 'real world,' the Divine reality of utopia, that we as humans cannot fully understand, but could draw near to through thought and contemplation. It isn't until death that we can fully achieve absolute knowledge.

This of course was just an ancient philosophical theory to understanding the universe. It's an interesting idea, but don't let it go to your head.

 

Think of it this way. All your state of conscious is neurons firing and other stuff. Basically you actually run on electricity in a way, and when you die, your neurons stop firing and your state of consciousness disappears. No afterlife, or anything. You're just no longer there.

I'm almost certain that's what happens.

Your dreams are constructed by all the little fragments of thoughts, feelings, and ideas that are already inhabiting your mind, and enhanced by your imagination of course.

I've had the same kinds of thoughts before, but the reality is that we are in the real world. You are probably experiencing deja vu because your mind is taking things that you have seen/heard/felt before - even if its just one small image like a sign post, or a certain strip of road etc - and then recreating them in your dreams. Then when you see those sorts of things again in real life, it feels like you are having deja vu and like you've seen it before (and you have actually seen it before, even if you think you haven't).

 

IF this was a dream, everyone is in it. From what i learned in this life, i can say proudly that it's not a dream. Try killing yourself, maybe you will then realize its not a dream xDD

 

Wow this is insane, like when i see something ive seen in my dream it happens in real life..

i had a dream just a quick second glimse of arsenal vs tottenham in my head i saw 3-2 scores, and then it happend irl.. except arsenal won 5-2.. its pretty insane.

 

Sounds like insanity to me. I wouldn't suggest jumping off a bridge.

 

I've thought just like you're thinking before, and when I begin to think about it, I just get really confused... I share the same thoughts though.

 

Just don't do anything drastic. Real or not.
