Is there still a future in botting

So the last time I've posted in these forums was back in 2007, since then I've heard that there have been many changes on RS. I heard that all bots are useless now since they can be insta detected ever since the huge clampdown on botting.

My question: Is that really the case?

 

Well no they are not instantly spotted as there are some bots out there that do work like simba and epicbot but yes most of the bots have been taken down by jagex .

There is also talks of a second bot nuke to take down simba and epicbot but not sure if this is true or not.

 

A lot of the main bots have indeed been killed due to the 'bot nuke'. There are still bots around however, SCAR/SIMBA and RiD are good examples. However Jagex are starting to become a lot stricter on RWTing currently.

 

Some bots are still up although most of the main ones were shutted down I guess.

 

As long as humans are able to look at runescape, so will bots.
It will always be possible to use bots.

Powerbot bots will take some more time before they are released.

 

I think powerbots trolling the release dates to get more visitors.

 

Powerbot won't release it soon , as they are having threats I guess or think so.

Yes, I think there is a future in botting. No matter what Jagex does there will always be those that try to get around it. Unless they were to change the game so much that normal players could not play it then things like RiD will ALWAYS work. Jagex is really strict about these things at the moment, but they can't/wont keep it up forever.

 

There will always be a future for future. The bans nowadays are nonexistent but I don't think huge goldfarming operations will return. As Jagex will rollback gp so it would be hard to trade the gold off. However small farms (5 or less bots) will return and many have already returned.

 

People will always bot, so to answer your question, yes there is a future to botting.
