On the night of Sunday February 12, 2012 (+8 UCT), I posted a Thread in the forums, wanting to buy a level 3 account with the santa suit. Kidios Kid replied, saying he had an account. I proposed that we take it to PM to negotiate. All of the PMs exchanged are below.

When we settled on the price, he asked me to add his MSN, which I did. Empathy Messenger doesn't play nice with me Ubuntu installation, so I used Hotmail Web Messenger. I was insanly stupid of my not to take screenshots of the deal, but I'll post what I can recollect, and hopefully Kidios Kid, if he's nice enough, could confirm/correct me.

We had problems on MSN at first, because when I added him, he accepted, but I couldn't see him online. I searched up his email in the Hotmail contact list, and sent him an offline message. He replied right away, so I guess he was online, and my Hotmail contact list was lagging a bit. We went over the deal one more time, and once we were both happy, he asked me to choose a world, so I did. I told him to meet in Lumbridge, and he did, after telling me his account username which I would transfer the money to (I don't remember it exactly, but it was something along the lines of "Saltea". Hopefully someone can correct me). I had decided to go first, seeing his thread of vouches.

I transferred the agreed sum of money to him, and logged out. He messaged me on MSN, confirming the payment, and telling me the account username and password, both of which were correct. I logged in on the Runescape website, and changed the password. It all seemed to be fine at that point.

I happily used the account for a few days, even entering a members code on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. It wasn't until on the morning of Thursday, February 16, 2012, that I tried to log in, and realized the account had been locked. I immediatly signed into my Hotmail, and messaged Kidios Kid, who was online.
I tried the info, detailing the state the account was in before the lock, to no avail. Several variations were tried, none of which worked. At this point, I was desperate, and sent Kidios Kid several Private Messages, as well as offline messages on MSN. No reply was given, even when I see Kidios Kid online on the forums.

I then created a thread in the General forum, asking for advice on what to do. Replies from several kind forum frequenters advised me to post a thread in the Scammers section, so here I am.

I say that he might be a scammer, because the account remains locked, and unrecovered. I'm pretty sure you'll need the original creation IP to recover the account, though.
