What is the biggest conspiracy theory that you believe is possible true?

Most commonly people would say, -general topics-

• - The CIA
• - Area 51 / aliens / UFO's
• - JFK assasination

• - The Illuminati
• - "death" of Elvis/Hitler/MJ etc.
• - Soviet secrets
• - Chinas radical involvement with north korea
• - The bermuda triangle

Please feel free to talk about anything you may think is a conspiracy. I will check this and would like to hear your opinions.

 

The JFK assassination is a rough topic mainly because we think there is some evidence behind his death that the CIA had a hand in the assassination, but we should also think about how many times it has been disproven that there was foul play. A quote from the book written by William Manchester seems to sum it up, but in the end we will probably never know.

9/11 and Illuminati are intertwined as many people think 9/11 was caused by the Illuminati (see Zeitgeist, etc.)

 

Zeitgeist is an intense movie . . . Shit will leave your mind blown .

 

The Illuminati is real, not a conspiracy, anyone who's done research on them would know.

 

What about the man on the moon conspiracy? I don't know too much about it myself, but I remember hearing alot about this conspiracy when I was younger and I was pretty interested in it. Apparantly alot of people believe that America faked the first trip to the moon, and there are all these "clues" that lead them to believe this, such as the flag in the photos "rippling in the wind" when their is supposedly no wind on the moon. I don't know, its something like that lol.

I think there is an old movie about it too... trying to remember the title of the film.

 

I've never seen a movie to do with this, and I don't believe it's fake, nor do I believe it was 100% fact. If there was "wind" it could have been faked, or it could have just been caused by the moon moving. Who knows

I was just suggesting at all the things they have been involved with throughout time.

 

They were supposed to place a plastic flag so that it would stand out straight . But there's also a movie ; Apollo 18 , which is basically a documentary based on a true story as to why USA won't go back to the moon . Perhaps this is a conspiracy too ?

 

I thought the skepticism around the moon landing was dis-proven, solar winds and Newtons law of motion (the motion of setting the flag down caused it to ripple) and some other stuff about the lighting in the video.

I believe that 9/11 and the Illuminati would be the most popular ones that I believe.

 

I think this with Newton's first law makes sense.

 

from what ive heard and read, the flag is actually DESIGNED to look like its rippling in the wind.

 

I did some research into it and I think I got confused with a movie called "Capricorn One", which is actually a fictional story about NASA faking a trip to Mars. I had heard of this movie before but thought it was about the moon landing. Regardless, I just wanted to offer up this conspiracy theory because it is quite a popular one that I have heard come up many times throughout my life and have always had a slight interest in.

I have only ever seen a few Mythbusters episodes, but would love to see the one that deals with the fake moon landing conspiracy. If you can find a link or something, PM it to me.

Also - Just for the record: I never actually said I believed in this theory, infact I said that I don't really remember/know anything about the conspiracy, but it is one that I am familiar with and seems fairly popular so I merely wanted to suggest it to add to the list and/or discuss.
