Medicinal Mari(h)uana

I just got a package in the mail from the Canadian Gov't. I have Crohn's Disease, It is a Chronic Illness. Since not medication is working for my pain, at all, I called Canada Health, I asked for what I could do etc, they told me I was eligible for Marihuana. They sent me a package, papers etc, no marihuana, and I have to sign some things and send it back. Now my parents are REALLY AGAINST illegal drugs, what should I say to them? 95% of all patients with Crohns in their lifetime, have atleast one surgery, marijuana every day brings that down to 30% of patients who use this drug. What should I say to my parents? :S

It is $20 for 30 seeds, and $5/gram for dried up Mary jane.

This is not for illegal use, nor this is illegal drug when you are talking for medicinal purposes.

 

Do a research of it's medicinal purposes and show the results to your parent so that they can see you are really into it. Also you could try find someone older with experience/knowledge and let them talk to your parents.

If your parents are against illegal drugs, just tell them it's legal or don't mention it at all.

He's not asking you whether marijuana should be legal or not. Read the thread.

Just tell your parents the results. If they're against ILLEGAL drugs, they shouldn't have TOO much of a problem with this. And, on the bright side, you get to be high off your ass.

 

Well the thing is that you don't even have to smoke it, or vaporize it. You can get dropper bottles that is an extract of the marijuana plant and it has the special chemicals (not THC, the other one that relieves pain.) and you just take like two drops on your tongue and it helps with your disease and pain. If you are getting it just to get high then you don't deserve it. People who abuse the system is why it isn't fully legal.

 

How can your parents fight with you about it, when you didn't ask for the "illness" in the first place, and it's completely doctor recomended, if their not going to trust the doctor's recommendation, who'll they trust?

I would explain these statistics to your parents, save some money, and then smoke a bowl for me and then one for you. 3 years probation in a NO-Tolerance state. They arrest for < a gram (usually) in Utah. Even if you don't stick to it, at least get it approved so you can smoke ME a bowl.

Remember, a friend with weed, is a friend indeed.
