When posting help with bbcode...

vBulletin has a build in bbcode and it's called [plain][/plain]. This code stops BB Code Parsing. For example:

If someone were to post and ask "How do I make my sig a link?", you would need to tell them the code to do it. Without the [plain][/plain] tags, it would be displayed as the clickable image, and not what they need to put in their signature, so it didn't help one bit.

I see a lot of people posting help with bbcode related issues, and they say things like 'remove the space before the [ and img' or ' quite my post and copy and paste the code into your signature'. A lot of times the person asking for help is confused by that, so you needed up not helping them either.

Next time you post bbcode help, use the [plain][/plain] tags and make it simple for the person you're helping!

I know how to do that in html, but not in BB. I was always wondering how to do that. Seriously something I wanted to know, thanks a lot.

Thanks World Domination! I was unaware of this feature! I always added spaces in the image tags ([IMG ][/ IMG]) when selling GFX. Now I know how!
